ABOUT THE SAFETY AWARDS
The Construction Safety Excellence Awards.
The AGC California CSEA program recognizes contractors across California who have built safety into the fabric of how they work — not just as compliance, but as leadership. Award recipients present live to a panel of judges and are recognized in front of the full conference at the luncheon Safety Mojo presents.
This year’s awards span five categories, covering individual field leadership through company-wide program excellence.
- Construction Safety Excellence Award — For contractors across Building, Heavy/Civil/Highway, and Specialty divisions, by total hours worked.
- Safety on a High Hazard Project — Multi-story structures, engineered trenches, or significant danger of serious injury.
- Individual Safety Effort – Superintendent — For superintendents who go beyond their primary role to drive safety performance.
- Individual Safety Effort – Frontline Foreman — For foremen showing outstanding hands-on safety leadership with their crews.
- Harry Eckstein Safety Professional of the Year — Exceptional dedication, innovation, and leadership in safety across the industry.
